Former Republican Alaska governor Sarah Palin admitted on Facebook that she was tricked into an interview with Sacha Baron Cohen for an upcoming Showtime series targetting U.S. politicians,

“Yup — we were duped. Ya’ got me, Sacha. Feel better now?"she wrote on her official Facebook page. "I join a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive, sick 'humor' of the British 'comedian' Sacha Baron Cohen, enabled and sponsored by CBS/Showtime.”

According to Palin, she was led to believe the interview was a "‘legit opportunity’ to honor American Vets and contribute to a ‘legit Showtime historical documentary.’”

“The disrespect of our U.S. military and middle-class Americans via Cohen’s foreign commentaries under the guise of interview questions was perverse,” Palin added.

"Mock politicians and innocent public personalities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night, but HOW DARE YOU mock those who have fought and served our country," Palin continued.

Her lengthy Facebook rant ended with a high school level jab: "By the way, my daughter thinks you’re a piece of ****, Sacha."

Palin also claims the production team intentionally dropped her off at the wrong airport with her daughter after she cut the interview short.

She is requesting that the proceeds from the upcoming show be donated to a charity that supports U.S. veterans.

Showtime has so far refused to comment on the matter. Cohen's show "Who Is America?" debuts on July 15th.
